2011-2012

Founded in the fall of 2011 we began with 15 inaugural members. Our first year we compete in only two competitions in the OIPA circuit and our season started in November and ended in mid-February.  The show was entitled Geometrics. It was based on the various shapes from each movement triangles, circles and squares.

2012-2013

Our show was entitled DrumCo Inc. Members were workers in a drum and guard factory making the various percussion and guard equipment while the foreman oversees the work. He then leaves on break, while he is gone the other members of the factory party. Showing their festive side hidden by their factory uniform. However, by the time the boss returns to the factory all is back to normal with the foreman none the wiser

2013-2014

Our show was entitled Everything I Needed to Know I Learned in Recess. This show discussed the many valuable lessons we learn out at recess. These included how to play, our first crush, dealing with bullies, and how to make friends. We included a 60 foot tug of war and even hopscotch with our section feature.

We took a step away from stories and into a concept with our show Phobias. This show allowed them to explore fears in an unusual way. They talked about the basic fears like spiders and heights but also more rare ones like mirrors and crowds. It was a fun show allowing student to show their performing and acting abilities.

In our sixth year we took on martial arts. A show paying homage to the legendary Bruce Lee entitled Path of the Dragon.  It is show included tai chi, kung fu, taekwondo, and other Asian styles of movement. The third movement even had a sparing scene. This year we received a silver medal at championships.

Our seventh year was an adventure into outer space. Space Mission was about a group of astronauts (Played by the battery), left earth to visit an unknown planet and make first contact with aliens (Guard). All seemed well until the two cultures collided.  This show was a really fun experience and we received our second consecutive silver medal and championships

Our eighth year was an all about things going wrong Glitch covered the everyday annoyances of our technology. From a buffering video, to complications logging in, to GPS gone wrong. This show had it all. Culminating in questioning if we are even human.

2019-2020

This year was a great one that ended abruptly. This show divided our group into two halves. The left brain analytical one (Played by the battery) and our right brain, the creative one (personified by the color guard). We got to see how each are different but we are not complete without the whole brain. Unfortunately, this season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After taking a year off due to the pandemic, War Eagle returned stronger than ever! The show brought the audience along with us as we explored The Tomb. As our adventurers discovered an ancient artifact that awoke the dead inside. Fearing for their lives and through some attempts to keep the artifact the explorers returned it to its rightful place. Once again allowing the mummies inside to resume their slumber.  This show was an OIPA bronze medalist

What a season this year was!! This show was called Through the Mirror. Several of our guard members became kids at a sleepover.  After being awoken by a strange feeling they realize the mirror in the room is not quite what it seems. Soon nightmare creatures begin coming through and tormenting them. In the end they are overpowered and trapped inside the mirror. While the nightmares, now freed, look for their next victims.  This show had great success and the students really put their skills on display. We finished this year in 1st place and OIPA Regional A STATE CHAMPIONS!!
